Don’s first oval race was at Huntington Beach.
Don is bottom side up, he was thrown from the car,
resulting in a concussion and broken shoulder.

When racing here Don called himself Bob Bodi so Dad wouldn’t know.
It took two weeks for Dad to find out then there was hell to pay!
